Translated from Italian, Andiamo means 'go', and that is what the Andiamo experience is all about. Situated in the trendy Cape Quarter in Green Point, Andiamo caters for breakfast, lunch and supper, cocktails and drinks. The food is straightforward and traditional Italian ranging from salads, tramezzinis and antipasti to pizza, pasta, meat and seafood. There is also a colourful deli with over 2000 delectable local and imported items to choose from such as sandwiches made on freshly baked breads, salads, meats all fully imported from Italy Parma Ham, Bresola, Coppa, olive oil, olives, Balsamic, freshly ground coffee and so much more. PLUS the Promotion Table which features displays and tastings from Monday to Sunday.

"even though i boked we were initially led to a very lousy table in the deli under flourescent lighting and right opposite the kitchen. After i indicated my unhappines we were moved. Our waitress was very distracted and often forgot our orders. The food was amazing and the tiramasu was just average; the biscuits had clearly not been soaked in coffee liquer and it was clear that it was not made with marscapone. A bit dissapointing for an italian restaurant. Will definitely be back, maybe on a quieter night."

"Had a FANTASTIC waiter, North African I think. He honestly made the evening worthwhile. Normally when one dines on a predefined special, a waiter becomes disheartened and irate. Our Waiter (forgot his name) took time and made the effort we got everything we could want and more. I will come again, soon!"
